Riot's Story

Hello! My name at Heartland is Riot, but I answer to Wyatt in my foster home since I am too dignified to cause a riot. I don't consider it a 'foster home' - it's my Prrrbo (Get it? Vrbo -> Prrrbo!) Hey, I'm a senior kitty, I'm allowed to tell dad jokes!

I am a gentle and distinguished tuxedo gentleman with a heart as soft as my whiskers are long. I relish the simple things in life - cozy naps in sunny spots, quiet companionship, lots of treats, and plenty of gentle head scratches from my favorite people. Although I may be a little older, I still have immeasurable love to give and dream of a peaceful forever home where I can relax and be cherished.

My Prrrbo Host is spoiling me! Soft bedding has appeared in all my favorite spots. There's a big basket full of cool toys that I get to play with, including one that challenges me to find my treats. I'm very smart and figured it out quickly so that I'm able to indulge in my beloved crunchies.

As would be expected, I am a very good boy with my litter box. I also use the scratching pads and post to take care of my nails and never use the couch for scratching (only napping). So many kitties are finicky - but not me! I am happy with any type of wet cat food and am a gold star member of the 'clean your plate club'!

I do have a thyroid issue, which is common in older kitties, but it is kept under control by a little pill that I happily take since it is offered in a Churu.

I'm ready to move from a Prrrbo to my forever home. Could you be the person I've been waiting for to spend my golden years with? I promise you unending love, lots of head boops, 'silent meows', kitty biscuits, and loud purrs.

I am neutered, up-to-date on my FVRCP and Rabies vaccines and I am FIV and FeLV negative.

I am currently staying in a lovely foster home. Email cats@heartlandanimalshelter.org to set up a time to meet me!
