Meet Rio
My Story
This cat is the total package! Not only is he a beauty but he super outgoing and friendly and funny! In fact, Rio adores attention so would be a great fit for an active family or one with lots of time to spend with this guy.
He’s a door greeter, very curious about anything and everyone, and follows his foster mom like a puppy would. He loves being held, and just about any kind of attention is great with him.
He has gorgeous gold eyes and a plush coat, and is likely a British short haired cat, which is a wonderful breed! Rio is an international traveler, having just arrived from Kuwait. We don’t know a lot about his past other than he was cruelly abandoned in the streets, but we know he’s going to have a wonderful future with an adoring family.
He‘s healthy, neutered, and microchipped. He is fine with other kitties, and will play and groom his foster siblings.
Fostered in Burke and only for adoption with those in the NoVa metro area.
Male, white, British short-hair mix, neutered, vaccinated, microchip, approximately 1-2 years old
