Riiiiiiicccccooooollllaaaaa - those who remember the throat lozenge commercials know how fun it is to call the name out in a sing song voice. <br/> <br/>We've been calling it out a lot at the shelter. <br/> <br/>Ricola is a bit of a quirky cat. He is stunning with his brown tabby markings and big round eyes. He loves attention, however he is very skittish at times and if you approach him too fast - he will run and hide. <br/> <br/>You can see it in his eyes. His hopeful eyes look at the volunteers for attention, but he is still very guarded. We know that one day he is going to drop that shield and be an amazing friend for someone, He will need some time and patience. <br/> <br/>He would do best in a quieter home - possibly with a calm kitty friend. He seems to get overwhelmed with more alpha cats at the shelter.
