At The Sanctuary at Haafsville, our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for animals in need. We empower them to heal, thrive and find loving forever homes through a volunteer community where each member is valued, supported, and appreciated. Through dedicated care, innovative programs, and community engagement, we strive to be a prominent advocate for animal welfare and promote responsible pet ownership. ***NOTE: We have 2 locations for meeting our dogs and cats. See below for info and our addresses*** We are open to the public every Saturday as per below: DOG Open Hours – Saturdays 10am – 2pm **Please do not bring your dogs** Dog Adoption Center 901 Nestle Way, Breiningsville, PA 18031 CAT Open Hours for previously scheduled appointments – Saturdays 10am – 12pm CAT Open Hours without appointments – Saturdays 12pm – 2pm Cat Adoption Center 7209 Kernsville Road, Orefield, PA 18069 We have dogs and cats available for adoption at both locations. All animals are fully vetted and spayed/neutered. Kittens and puppies are usually placed into foster homes and are not always at the shelter for meet and greets. We have many years of experience in TNR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate and Return). We provide information on low cost spay/neuter clinics to assist people who want to humanely control the overpopulation of free-roaming cats and feral colonies.
