Rice's Story

BURRITO THEMED KITTEN: Approx. 2.5 months old / Approx. 2.5 lbs. & growing

Hi, my name is Rice! My siblings and I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control. We were able to go to a great foster home, where we have been playing, growing and soaking up all the love that comes our way. I just got the great news that I am moving to the Kitty Room at the shelter and am now adoptable—yay! Come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member!

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I get along great with my siblings and have only had limited exposure to other kitties in my foster home. I may enjoy another kitty in my new home. If you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a kitten friend, let's meet! / Dogs unknown / I've done great with the kids I have met in my foster home. Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten. Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and—of course, let's meet!

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: Of all my siblings, I'm the quiet one of the trio, and I might need a few minutes to get to know you first. I may be a little shy at first, but once I decide you're my person, that's it! You'll have a sweet, loyal little shadow who just wants to be close to you. Could you be my forever person?

• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I like to take my time sizing you up before deciding you're someone special. But once I warm up, you'll find me right by your side—never more than a foot away! Give me a little patience, and I'll soon be snuggled up in your lap, soaking up all the love and cuddles. / I can't think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not like it if I didn't get the love and attention on which I thrive!

• MEDICAL: I've started my kitten shots, but you must finish those for me as I grow. I am microchipped. I'm not yet spayed due to my small size, but it is required and will be done as soon as I grow a little more. Mostly Mutts will cover that cost with one of their approved vets in the North Metro Atlanta area, so local adoptions only.

I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving family for life! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
