Reagan says: I grew up in an outdoor colony that my caretaker TNRed (trapped, neutered/spayed, returned) with FAN’s help. When she moved away last spring, FAN took over feedings and quickly noticed that some of us were friendly and likely to enjoy inside living. I’m so glad I was one of them! And really I was one of them. I looked for pets and showed my belly the first day at my foster home!

I’m currently a foster-to-adopt status because it takes me a little bit to trust new people. But don’t be fooled - I love my people! I enjoy my foster mom’s pets more than anything else, even food!!! When my foster mom puts food down, I spend several minutes rubbing against her and asking for pets. Then I’ll eat a little and then come back for more pets. Have you heard how much I love being petted??? I also am a sucker for anything catnip! I do also like playing with wand toys, but, hey do you like giving pets?????

With foster to adopt, FAN gives you and me some time to settle in so that you can see how much I like being petted before you fully commit to adopting me. Trust me - you won’t be sorry. I’d like to live with my family member, Jessica Day, but would also probably be okay alone as along as. . .you got it. . .you give me lots of pets!

— vaccinated (rabies & FVRCP)
— microchipped, if they get lost (and found), they can easily be scanned and reunited with you!
— tested for FIV & FeLV diseases
— parasite-free (dewormer & flea prevention)
— provided additional veterinarian visits, if needed for any health issues
— conveyed to you with all medical records at time of adoption

2. PHONE CALL: Schedule a call with our Adoption Coordinator, after completing the above steps, to review your application/questionnaire for approval and answer any questions about your preferred kitty and our adoption process
2. MEET-N-GREET: We'll set up a time for you to get to know each other, whether at their foster home and/or Norfolk's Catnip Cat Cafe
3. CONTRACT: If we both determine you & your kitten(s) or cat (s) are a good match, then the adoption proceeds. Contract is completed, signed, fee is paid, and your new furry friend(s) can go home with you!
