Ralphie's Story

Ralphie, the boy who lived!

Ralphie is quite the character! This silly boy came to us weighing about 4 pounds, extremely emaciated due to an intestinal blockage that he had for quite some time. Thankfully we were able to get the blockage removed just in time. Due to the amount of time Ralphie was sick, his kidneys did get affected. Thanks to his foster for all the TLC and a few months of a kidney care diet, Ralphies kidney values went back to normal! He is now around 11 pounds and a bundle of joy! He loves to pester the other kitty housemates and loves to adventure. Ralphie does need to stay on a joint supplement as he does have an old injury to his hip, which has caused quite significant arthritis. He gets along just fine, but we wanted his new family to be aware that he will need a good relationsip with his Doctor, and likely pain management somewhere down the line!

Ralphie is one of the most silly, goofy cats you could luck out with. He is a complete joy to spend time with, and he will always keep you laughing!

Ralphie is in foster currently so if you would like to meet him, please reach out to the SPCA of Hancock County to sechedule a time! Ralph really needs his forever home, he has been through enough! Could that be you?
