Rajah and Chocolate

Rajah and Chocolate are a beautiful bonded pair of seniors who are looking for a home together. Rajah (cream colored) is a boy, 15 years old, and a Scottish Fold/Himalayan mix. Chocolate (black/brown) is a girl, 13 years old, and a Persian/Himalayan mix. They had been together in the same home for 13 years, ever since Chocolate was a kitten, and were quite upset at the change in their lives after being surrendered, but they are slowly settling in at the shelter. Chocolate is very sweet and loves affection and pets. Rajah, on the other hand, is a real snob: you can sit with him, talk to him and feed him; he'll come to you and check you out but don't touch the fur! His previous owners said that he does become more sociable with people he knows and trusts. Rajah is neutered and Chocolate is spayed, and both are vaccinated and microchipped. Their combined adoption fee is $200. They came from a home with older children and seem to do well with other cats; young children or dogs would not be a good idea at their age. They are looking for an understanding, patient family that will lavish attention on Chocolate and is content with just admiring Rajah from a distance until he has developed trust.
