Meet Rafferty
Rafferty was adopted from the Shelter in April of 2021 but sadly had to return to us when his owner passed away. He is a creature of comfort that loves a deep fleecy bed and lots of petting. He was originally found outside a cinema at night with terribly matted fur and had to be completely shaved down.
Unfortunately, he came back to us so matted that we had to clip a lot of him down again. He was very uncomfortable due to the mats and even had trouble going to the bathroom. He was so good for all of the grooming and enjoys being brushed so he has to go to a new home where he is combed and brushed daily.
He loves everyone and may enjoy being with other cats. He is FIV positive so he definitely must stay as an indoor-only cat and have an owner that will make sure he gets great care. He came back to us terribly obese and will need to go on a strict diet to help him return to a healthy weight. He is 8 or 9 years old. We love this handsome cat and want to find him the kind of home he deserves.
To apply for a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application from this page:

If a cat is listed on our website, that means that the cat is still available for adoption.
The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers so adoption meetings take place by appointment. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $150 if 11 years old or younger. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, microchip, testing for FeLV, and spaying/neutering.
