Quint's Story

Meet Quint

Quint is a handsome grey cutie under a year old, sporting a charming white spot on his chest and a perfect little triangle on his belly. He was born on a loading dock in Romulus alongside his six siblings (including his brother Bruce), with his devoted mom, Diana, keeping everyone safe until the whole family was rescued just hours after birth.

Since then, Quint has grown up knowing only love and security. He’s mastered all the important kitten skills: enthusiastic playtime, cozy nap sessions, and sneaking up on toys with impressive stealth. He’s playful, curious, and full of that joyful kitten energy—without being overwhelming.

Quint thrives with feline companionship and would love to be adopted with one of his siblings. If that’s not possible, a home with a young, friendly, playful kitty is a must for him to feel happy and confident.

If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion with an adorable look and a heart shaped by love and safety, Quint is ready to steal yours.

Quint is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Animal House of South East Michigan, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment. Our adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten $195 for a pair of cats or kittens Please note that we do not do same day adoptions and all adoption fees are non-refundable. AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We are also flexible if more time is needed to determine if its the right fit. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
