Quick's Story
Meet Quick

A quiet observer with a gentle soul. Quick came to us with his mom and siblings, and from the very beginning he was the cautious one of the group. While his siblings rushed into new adventures, Quick preferred to hang back, watch, and make sure everything felt safe first.

Quick is still a shy boy who appreciates having his space respected. He may give a little hiss when he’s unsure or overwhelmed, but it’s simply his way of communicating that he needs patience and time. Once he realizes he’s safe, though, his softer side begins to shine. With consistent attention, gentle pets, and a calm environment, Quick slowly opens up and learns to trust.

He’s the kind of cat who forms meaningful bonds at his own pace, making every small moment of affection feel extra special. We believe Quick would thrive in a patient home, especially one with another friendly cat to help boost his confidence and show him the ropes.

If you’re looking for a mellow companion and have the kindness to let a shy cat bloom in his own time, Quick may be the perfect addition to your family.

Adoption fee is $150

PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT:

***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states.

Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file.

For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters.

Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel. Each pet is spayed/neutered, receives age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and flea/tick prevention.

You can visit our website at www.forpetssakerescue.org for our full adoption process and adoption application. You can view the locations we transport to on our website under Adoptions.

We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents.
