Say hey to Puddin! Puddin came to us after he, his sister, and his mother were found as strays. We believe Puddin was born in December of 2022, and would do well with most ages, and other animals with proper introduction. Puddin is a very sweet guy that loves toys and playing with his friends! When he isn't in play mode, he loves lounging around with a friend to bird watch, or sunbathe! Puddin loves attention, but loud noises may spook him for a minute - but he recovers quickly for more attention! He is looking forward to having a home to call his very own! Puddin would prefer to have a cat friend in his new home, or to take one with him!

All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org

When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition.

Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed.

If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
