While she enjoys spending time with her siblings, shes also perfectly content finding her own cozy spot for a nap. She has an independent spirit and a quiet confidence that beautifully complements her soft, delicate appearance.<br/><br/>Princesss story is also a reminder that it truly takes a village.<br/>The McKinley kittens were born to a very young mama cat in a planter. She delivered a litter of five, but heartbreakingly, one kitten did not survive. The family who discovered them was severely allergic to cats, but instead of turning away, they reached out for help. They posted on Nextdoor, hoping someone could assist.<br/><br/>Thats when another neighbor stepped in and opened their home to foster this little family while partnering with LapCats to provide veterinary care, supplies, and carefully screen potential adopters.<br/>This is what community looks like. One family asked for help. Another family answered the call. Together, they gave this little family the chance they deserved. It truly takes a village, and Princess is here today because of the kindness of people who chose to care.<br/><br/>Because kittens thrive with companionship, Princess must be adopted with one of her siblings or go to a home that already has a young, playful resident cat to be her buddy.<br/><br/>Adoption Applications can be found on our website Lapcats.org and are the first step in our process.<br/><br/>All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are vaccinated. If they have been rescued as kittens under 4 months, they will not have a rabies vaccine. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. <br/><br/>We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
