Reason for being at shelter: Owner surrender - Overwhelmed by kids and dogs

Description: Prince Able is a very sweet, gentle, and kind kitty but he’s just very shy about it, at first. He doesn’t seek the attention but boy does he love the rubs and affections when it’s offered to him. He even enjoys a good lap sit and cuddles. The more time you spend with him, the friendlier and more confident and more loving he becomes. Prince Able lived with an adult woman where he bloomed into a wonderful, loving companion to her.

But when the extended family had to move in with young kids and dogs in tow, it sent Prince Able into seclusion and into an unmanageable stress zone. He was terrified. His anxiety was more than Prince Able and his owner could bare so unfortunately and with great heartache, he was surrendered back to the shelter where he was originally adopted from a couple years ago. It is clear that Prince Able matured from that time with his adopter and we are determined to find him the next right home for him, one without little kids and one without dogs.

Prince Able likes his adult people but he’s also good with other cats. He is a dear, sweet cat and one can’t help but love him. He is so handsome in looks and incredibly adorable in his personality. Prince Able will make a phenomenal companion. Come out and meet him today.
