Hi! My name is Pretzel. I am a 6-month-old, male, tabby kitten! I was found by a Good Samaritan in Powhatan, and she asked Purring Hearts to take me in. I was near death, but after the care and treatment that I was given, I bounced back quickly. I am still a bit timid from having had a rough start in life. If you startle me, I will hiss--but once you start petting me, I melt like butter. I have bonded with another foster kitten in the household named Black Raspberry, and we have become best friends! We MUST be adopted together! We have both overcome a lot and have truly started to blossom. We need a loving owner who understands cat personalities and will let us come out of our shell at our own pace. We are sweet and enjoy playing with toys. We would likely do best as the only cats in the house--or perhaps with one, young, friendly cat. We have not been introduced to dogs yet. We would prefer a calmer home with older (12+) or no kids. I am neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, tested for FIV/FeLV (negative/negative), and have my microchip.
