She very recently found herself on one of our founders porches (we know, original name) and tried barging her way in when they went out to feed the local strays. After leaving her out for the night to make sure she wasnt nursing any kittens she was spotted on multiple cameras still attempting to break in. The following morning she was scooped up and taken into now foster moms work to be scanned for a chip. Inked Kitten Club's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting an Inked Kitten. Please complete our adoption application in full. We do not evaluate inquiries. As a foster based organization, we require a fully completed application in order to set up kitten meet and greets. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. Our priority is finding the best match for each cat or kitten. Because kittens tend to adjust better with a buddy, applicants interested in adopting a pair are generally given higher priority to help prevent Single Kitten Syndrome (SKS). What is Single Kitten Syndrome? Single Kitten Syndrome occurs when young kittens are adopted alone. Without a feline playmate, they may develop behavioral issues such as: Aggression or anxiety | Inappropriate chewing or scratching | Litter box avoidance | Difficulty adjusting to new pets or children later in life. While not all single kittens experience these challenges, it’s a common reason cats are rehomed late. The best way to prevent SKS is to adopt kittens in pairs or ensure there’s already a playful, compatible cat in the home.
