Porcha's Story
Meet Porcha! (More photos to come)

Female I 6 months I UTD Vaccines I Dewormed I Spayed I Microchipped I FeLV/FIV Negative
ways ready to join the next game of chase or wrestling match.

Sweet Porcha is about 6m old and ready to make herself at home with a new adopter! She very recently found herself on one of our founders porches (we know, original name) and tried barging her way in when they went out to feed the local strays. After leaving her out for the night to make sure she wasnt nursing any kittens she was spotted on multiple cameras still attempting to break in. The following morning she was scooped up and taken into now foster moms work to be scanned for a chip. When none was found we proceeded with spaying, vaccinated, combo testing, and getting her vaccinated. Since then she has been nothing shy of a perfect social girl. She wants to befriend everything and has a healthy reservation towards the large pup in the house but overall seems to do great with him.

Due to her age she is eligible to be a single kitten adoption but she would likely thrive with a pal.

Interested in Adopting?

Scroll down and click "Visit Our Profile Page" our application is under our Adoption Policies Section. Please complete the adoption application in full. PF Inquiries and Matches are not evaluated.

We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. Our priority is finding the best match for each cat or kitten. Applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens are typically given higher priority. Due to concerns about Single Kitten Syndrome (SKS), young kittens are not eligible for solo adoption unless there is already a young kitty of similar energy in the home.

What is Single Kitten Syndrome?

Single Kitten Syndrome occurs when young kittens are adopted alone. Without a feline playmate, they may develop behavioral issues such as:

Aggression or anxiety
Inappropriate chewing or scratching
Litter box avoidance
Difficulty adjusting to new pets or children later in life

While not all single kittens experience these challenges, it's a common reason cats are rehomed later. The best way to prevent SKS is to adopt kittens in pairs or ensure there is already a playful, compatible cat in the home.
