Pierogi is such a yummy little dumpling!! You just want to eat him up! Calm and sweet, Pierogi just loves to be held and snuggled. He would be fine with other like-minded animals. Pierogi was born in September 2023 at our foster's home. He and his sister came to the shelter so they could find a family or best friend, so Pierogi is just waiting for you to come in figure out what a delicious addition to your household he would be!!

All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org

When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition.

Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed.

If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
