Phineas's Story

Meet Phineas—a breathtakingly handsome, long-haired black boy with enormous golden eyes, a tender heart, and a serious talent for snuggling.

Phineas is estimated to be about 3 years old, and his story is one we wish we could change.

His owners moved away and left him behind. For the next two years, Phineas lived outside, relying on a kind woman who faithfully fed him. Two years of wondering where he belonged. Two years of learning to be cautious. Two years of surviving instead of simply being someone's beloved cat.

But here's the thing about Phineas...He is SO sweet. Once he trusts you, Phineas absolutely melts.

He loves to be petted. He loves belly rubs. He loves curling up beside you at night. And sometimes, when you're least expecting it, he'll reach over and give you a little kiss.

He wants to be close to his people. He wants to be part of the family.
He wants to be where everyone else is.

Unfortunately, Phineas' foster home has another cat who attacks him. Because of that, Phineas has to stay in his own room while he waits for his forever family.
And that's heartbreaking—because he wants OUT. He wants to be with everyone so badly.

Imagine being a cat who spent two years outside, finally getting rescued, only to find yourself having to hide away again because another cat won't accept you.
That's not the life Phineas deserves.

We believe there is a completely different Phineas waiting to emerge when he has a home where he feels safe, secure, loved, and no longer has to constantly be on guard. His timidness isn't a flaw. It's a reminder of what he's been through.

Give him patience. Give him consistency. Give him affection. Give him a little time to realize that he's finally home—and we believe you'll see this beautiful, affectionate boy blossom into the devoted companion he's meant to be.

And honestly... look at that face. Those golden eyes. That magnificent flowing black coat. That sweet little soul hiding underneath all that uncertainty.

Phineas isn't looking for a perfect person. He's looking for his person. Someone who will understand that trust is earned, not demanded. Someone who won't give up if he needs a little time. Someone who will let him discover, at his own pace, just how wonderful life can be when you're finally someone's cherished family member.

PHINEAS AT A GLANCE:

- Approximately 3 years old
- Gorgeous long-haired black male
- Big, beautiful golden eyes
- Sweet, affectionate and loves to snuggle
- Loves pets and belly rubs
- Sleeps beside you at night
- Known to give surprise kisses!
- A little timid and needs a patient, loving home
- Would thrive in a peaceful environment where he can relax and gain confidence

And he's fully vetted, too!
Neutered
Vaccinated
FeLV/FIV negative
Treated for intestinal parasites
Treated for fleas

Phineas has spent enough time wondering if anyone would choose him.
Now he just needs someone to say: "Yes, Phineas. I choose you."

Please SHARE Phineas. His perfect person may be just one share away.

Phineas is looking for love. And after everything he's been through, we think he deserves an enormous amount of it!
