Phil's Story

Meet Phil! 🐾 Phil is a 5-month-old boy who's equal parts silly, shy, sweet, and playful. He enjoys attention and pets from his people, but he's also perfectly happy chasing toys, playing with his cat friends, and enjoying a few treats along the way. ❤️ Phil came to us from a hoarding situation with his mama, siblings, and several extended family members after living among 20-30 cats. He was the tiny runt of his litter, and for a while we worried about our little guy--he wasn't very interested in wet food and much preferred mama's milk (and eventually dry food!). But little Phil kept growing, and today he's a happy, healthy, playful kitten who's ready for the next chapter. He may have started out as the littlest of the bunch, but now he just needs a family to make him their biggest priority. ❤️Adoption Hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Raskel's Rescue's Adoption Policy

Our main goal is to place animals in the right home to increase owner retention. For example, we would avoid placing a highly active dog into a sedentary home. Our application does not allow for anyone to apply for a specific animal, it is more of a questionnaire so that it has people think about what they are looking for. Such as an active dog vs a calm dog or a dog that needs grooming often vs a short haired dog. We just want to make the right match for your household.
