Pete's Story

Meet Pete! Pete is a young male kitty born in December 2025 with a huge heart and a serious love for people. He’s incredibly affectionate, loves to be held, and will happily curl up on the bed to sleep alongside his human. He’s a purr machine (with lots of adorable little “prrrrrt” noises, too) and is sure to keep you smiling with his constant commentary and sweet personality. Pete does well with other cats, and while he hasn’t been tested with dogs yet, he may do fine with the right introductions. When Pete first arrived at his foster home, he was pretty scared for the first couple of days, so it’s possible he may be shy in a new home at first—but once he feels safe, he absolutely blossoms into the loving, people-oriented companion he truly is. Due to his prior negative experience living with young children, we do not recommend a home with young children for Pete going forward. If you’re looking for a cuddly best friend, Pete is ready to win your heart. Pete has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoption fee is $125 and includes a complimentary vet exam, coupons from Petsmart, and a gift bag from POPP.

If you're interested in giving Pete a home, please complete our adoption questionnaire: https://www.popptricities.org/adopt/adoption-questionnaire-feline/
