Meet Pete and Monica (available from foster)
MEET PETE and MONICA (available through foster)!
Pete and Monica are seven year old siblings, who originally came to MEOW as kittens who were found living under a deck. They were adopted but returned six years later when the family had a baby and stress of the newcomer was too much for Pete and Monica.
They are happily living in a foster home, but would love to find a permanent and forever home. Their foster mom tells us that they are the "perfect cats". She describes them as "oh so sweet", endearing and loving. They absolutely love to sit on the window sill and watch the outside goings on. They like to play, but it seems that their favorite toy is a knotted shoelace!
When returned, Monica was diagnosed with idiopathic cystitis, which may have been brought on by stress. This is being well and easily managed with a special diet. Monica has not had any problems while in foster care.
We believe Pete and Monica will do best in a quiet home without children or dogs. If you are interested in these beautiful pair, they would love to meet you!
*****
We are currently conducting in person adoptions on Thursdays from 1pm-5pm, as well as Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5pm (walk-ins welcome, but appointments prioritized).
