Penelope's Story

Meet Penelope and Hotch!

Are you looking for a tag-team of private detectives that will find the key to your heart?
Penelope and Hotch came into our care when their previous owner was unable to continue caring for them. These friendly, playful and active snuggle-bugs are a bonded duo and ready to find a quiet home to share with their new family!

Although Penelope and Hotch have been through some change lately, they have remained resilient, adaptable and ready to make new friends! Penelope is especially social and likes to sleep touching you, while Hotch can be a little more sensitive with change and may prefer to hang out at the foot of the bed. Both of them will keep tabs on you throughout the day and have a tendency to get under-foot, wanting to rub on legs for attention and make sure you haven't forgotten about their playtime schedule or snacks. Now that they are ready to meet adopters, they hope that you come in soon to fall in love. They are a special pair that will soon make themselves an integral part of your family - surely you'll wonder how you got along without them. As they settle in, you'll begin to learn her preferences and set a routine together that will bring out their very best qualities.

Having a set-up that includes cat trees and other elevated surfaces increases the living space available for a cat and gives them extra opportunities for climbing, perching, and surveying the kingdom! Providing ample indoor enrichment will be essential to them being able to exhibit healthy cat behavior indoors, such as playing, climbing and scratching. They love toys and playing with each other, as well as having interactive play time with their people.

Cats: Penelope and Hotch really enjoy living with each other but have no known experience living with other cats.
Dogs: Penelope and Hotch have done well co-existing with a cat-savvy dog in their previous home.
Children: Penelope and Hotch have no known experience interacting with children.

Visit our Adoption Center to meet your potential new best friend! Please visit the Adopt section of our website for details on the adoption process. We look forward to seeing you soon!
