Miss Penelope is finally ready for her forever family! She and her brothers were found under an abandoned house two years ago. Penelope has a condition called eyelid agenesis, which means she does not have eyelids. JCAPL took her under their care and has treated her with surgeries to remove eyelashes that were irritating her eyes, and the doctor says she is good to go now. But because she has no eyelids, she should get eyedrops every day just to help moisturize her eyes. Although she may have been through a lot in her first two years of life, she is not letting that slow her down. She is a sweet girl who wants to live her life settled into a home with a family she can call her very own. Toys, treats, attention and lots of love are on Miss Penelope's wish list in looking for the purrfect family!

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
