***Sharonville Location***<br/><br/>Pedro is just turning a year old but is still learning social skills that normally are instilled by mama or siblings during the first several months of life. Like many kittens we receive during kitten season, Pedro was found all alone, barely a week old, no mother in sight. He would not have survived the night much less a week, without intervention. Our shelter director took him home and bottle fed him around the clock for weeks until he was old enough to eat canned food on his own. He grew to be an absolutely gorgeous young boy who loves to play with his toys, but is unsure how to relate to the other cats in his free range room. Hes learning to be brave as he explores his new setting, but he still returns to home base when things get a little loud or too crowded. He can be a little bitey with the volunteers, especially if he gets wound up, so is probably not a good fit with young children. He tolerates the resident shelter dog in the hallway but would not do well with a reactive dog given his propensity for antagonizing! <br/><br/>Pedro shows promise for someone calm and patient, looking to tame a beautiful panther. He is hilariously entertaining, and given time, will settle down and enjoy snuggles. <br/><br/>Pedro showed symptoms of a mild food intolerance to Adult Dry. He is currently eating Tiki Hairball Dry food. <br/><br/>Please consider making an appointment to see if Pedro is the right companion for you. <br/><br/>FIV/FeLV negative.<br/><br/>*Must be 21 or older to adopt.<br/>**Our shelter has a policy to only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter.
