Pearl is a petite little kitty. She’s curious and likes to explore. She has a funny little meow and, because she has had the majority of her teeth removed she has the perpetually cheeky look of sticking her tongue out at you. Pearl would do well in a quieter home and seems okay with other cats as long as they are easy going. There is no dog at the foster home but we think she would be okay as long it the dog was also calm and gentle. She is timid with strangers and sudden movements or loud noises will see her run to her safe place but with patience and love you will see how this little diamond in the rough transforms into the jewel in the crown.

Pearl would like to introduce herself!
HI! My name is Pearl, Pearly-girl, Pearl-drop, Pearl-Jam and sometimes Pearl-bug! I have been keeping my CRPAWS foster mom company since July and now I think it’s time to find my furever family. When CRPAWS members rescued me from a deplorable hoarding situation I was dirty, riddled with fleas and had a mouth full of broken teeth and infected gums. I did not know kindness and would shrink from touch, even if it was gentle assurance that I was safe now. Slowly I came to realize that the hands that reached for me held only love and comfort. At foster mom’s, I have dishes of fresh food every day – and they are just for me! I had no idea when water is fresh it is clear so I was a bit skeptical of that dish. I still am a little, so foster mom puts water in my wet food for me so it looks like what I was used to but tastes SO much better.
There are these things in my room! I found out they are called toys and I am allowed to play with them! I just had to figure out what exactly playing was. CRPAWS took me to the nice lady at a place called Clinic, I think her name was Dr. Vet. She took care of the owies in my mouth and I now eat without pain. Since CRPAWS gave me a safe haven my life has changed dramatically from existing to LIVING! I would really love a forever home, so I am ready for you to adopt me when you have finished reading my post!
