Peanut and Zorro are a very sweet and friendly bonded pair of 3 year old Domestic Short Hairs that were brought to SCAC after their owner was moving and could no longer keep them. Zorro and Peanut spend most of their days climbing the cat tree, rolling in catnip, and soaking up all the attention from visitors. Second Chance Animal Center's Adoption Policy
Second Chance has an online adoption application process for cats, dogs, and small critters. Veterinarian and landlord contact information is required on all applications. Once application is submitted, it may take several days for us to follow up with all appropriate contact information. We will initially respond via email but feel free to call us directly with any follow-up questions. We always encourage potential adopters to submit an application in advance of your visit to our shelter. Same-day feline adoptions are possible with pre-approved applications. Canine adoptions take several visits as dog-to-dog and family meet-and-greets are required.
