Meet Oscar
Meet huge hunk with an equally huge heart, Oscar. This guy is all about love, food, window watching, and more love. He has the sweetest raspy meow that he uses when he knows it's dinnertime. And he's punctual too! Oscar's two greatest pleasures in life are chin rubs and food.
Oscar came to us a bit dirty and a bit smelly but so ready to live the indoor life again. We think he spent this cold winter fending for himself outside. Despite this, he is loving the attention and foodservice his foster home has to offer. He seems to be fine with other cats and calm dogs. He is outgoing, friendly, and comfortable making himself right at home.
Oscar is FIV+ which is no big deal. FIV is not transmittable to humans and he can live with cats who don't have FIV. FIV is passed through deep bite wounds and Oscar doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He will need biannual vet visits, a good diet, and of course an indoor-only lifestyle. That's really all there is to it. If you have questions about FIV please feel free to email us at info@pawsandclawschicagorescue.org
Oscar is more than ready to find his family and home.
