Ophelia's Story
Meet Ophelia, the tortoiseshell powerhouse! She came to us with an injury to her front left leg which resulted in an amputation, but honestly? She's completely unfazed, wildly energetic, and serving pure sass 24/7. Her hobbies include zooming around on three legs, showing off her beautiful tortie coat, and reminding everyone that limits are totally made up. Ophelia is an absolute joy with that classic, unstoppable torti-tude!

Requires another cat in the home: Yes, kittens always do better with a friend! A bored kitten is naughty kitten.
Good with other cats: Yes
Would be fine with young kids (under 10): Yes
Good with dogs: Yes
Home activity level: Average
Health concerns or special needs: No

We believe Ophelia was born around 5-29-2026. She is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $150 (or $250 for two) which covers age appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, FIV/FeLV testing, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. If you're interested in adopting Ophelia, please submit an inquiry or email BraveAnimalRescue@gmail.com to ask about our adoption process (please check your spam or junk email if you do not hear back from us within a few business days). We are 100% volunteer staffed and will respond to your email as soon as possible. After you have submitted an application and been approved, we will set up a meet and greet between you and the kitten/cat. Meet and greets are held virtually via Zoom and we offer a trial period to ensure your cat/kitten is a match. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to learn more about Brave Animal Rescue and our mission.
