A vet check revealed she had been declawed at some point in her life and has no remaining teeth, indicating she may have defanged too. It’s a mystery why anyone would do such a thing, as despite her sad past, she has been extremely friendly to strangers and a very loyal companion to anyone who will give her attention. A food connoisseur of both dry and wet foods, though Opal joined the rescue underweight, she is steadily regaining it. An overall sweetheart, any family would be lucky to call Opal theirs.
