Hi, I’m Onyx!

I have an important question for you: Do you have room in your heart — and on your lap — for a professional cuddler?

Because that’s me! I absolutely love being close to my people. Give me a cozy lap, a gentle hand and some love, and I’m one very happy boy.

Of course, I’m still a kitten, so I have plenty of playful moments, too! I love exploring, playing with my kitten friends and having fun. But when playtime is over, I’m happiest snuggled up with someone I love.

I’m looking for a forever family who will give me lots of love, attention and, most importantly, plenty of opportunities to cuddle.

If you’re looking for a sweet little guy who comes with a big heart and an even bigger love of snuggling, I think I might be your boy!

Neighborhood Cats Network, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Neighborhood Cats Network places a strong emphasis on responsible, well-matched adoptions. All prospective adopters begin by completing our online adoption application at NeighborhoodCatsNetwork.org. Each application is carefully reviewed by our Adoption Screening Committee, which consists of two board members and our adoption coordinator. All three must unanimously approve every adoption to ensure the best outcome for both the cat or kitten and the adopter. We partner with Pet Supplies Plus locations in Monroe and Ontario Counties, where potential adopters can meet and interact with our kittens in a welcoming, stress-reduced environment. For the wellbeing of the cats and to allow thoughtful decision-making, no kittens are adopted out on the same day. Once an application is approved, most cats and kittens are personally delivered to their new homes by one of our dedicated volunteers or our adoption coordinator. Each adopter receives a comprehensive welcome folder containing the cat’s or kitten’s detailed medical record, emergency contact numbers, our Kitten Care 101 guide, the Neighborhood Cats Network newsletter, and a personalized welcome letter. This careful, step-by-step process helps us ensure that every cat or kitten is placed in a loving, permanent home and that new families have the resources they need for a successful start together.
