Full of patience, this young man will respect your space if you need it, but he'll also be ready to let you pet his belly when you want his attention! <br/><br/>Ollie knows how to entertain himself for hours and loves quietly playing with little toy mice, balls, and feathers. His foster mom has never met a more well-behaved kitty! He treats other cats with playfulness and respect, sensing if they are inviting him for play, or if they want their space! Only when Ollie feels a shared vibe does he go wild, chasing and pouncing his friend all over the apartment. <br/><br/>Something very interesting about Ollie is that he doesn't know how to meow; he makes adorable chirps and squeaks instead to show how delighted he is. Ollie would elevate the atmosphere of a calm, harmonious home with humans who are as gentle as he is. He brings the peace!<br/><br/>Currently in foster care in North Hollywood. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.<br/><br/>We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.<br/><br/>We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.<br/><br/>When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.<br/><br/>If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.<br/>If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.<br/>Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community.
