Ollie - Available from Foster's Story

Meet Ollie!

Ollie is a cool, calm and collected senior cat. This chummy guy is willing to share his charm with new people readily! He loves some of the typical cat things like boxes and catnip, but somehow every time he does something cute it's just the cutest, and every time is cuter than the last. You may need extra photo storage...

He came into our care after his owner passed away and family members were not able to take him in. His medical work-up at HSCC revealed hyperthyroidism, so he was placed in foster while starting treatment. Despite not knowing much about his previous experiences, his dedicated foster has been devoted to noticing and appreciating all the little things that make him unique all while maintaining a close eye on his health. In a new home, his new family will have the joy and privilege of continuing to learn about him and supporting his health journey.

He enjoys the simple comforts of soft blankets, and depending on the weather - either heated cat beds or fans - are a win! He won't be earning his keep by joining you during cleaning - as he'd much prefer to avoid scary things like the broom, vacuum or trash bags. He will reward you for your hard work, however, by joining you on the couch for a nap. If he feels like it, he may contribute to the household duties by keeping watch out the window or serving as a greeter or entertainment for guests - according to his foster, he likes to show off his belly and his super cool juggling skills with his pickle catnip toy.

Cats: Ollie has previously lived with other cats, but there is no information known about this relationship.
Dogs: Ollie has no known experience living with dogs.
Children: Ollie has no known experience living with children of any age.

Ollie is available for adoption from an HSCC foster home! To meet him, please complete an Adopter Profile and visit the Adopt section of our website for details on the adoption process. We look forward to seeing you soon!
