Oliver Twist

Meet Oliver Twist – The Gentle Soul Who’s Ready for His Happy Ending

If ever a cat’s life mirrored a classic tale, it’s Oliver Twist’s. Born into uncertainty, he grew up with more struggles than a kitten should ever know. He learned early on that life could be unfair—waiting, wondering, and hoping someone would notice him. And somehow, despite it all, Oliver never lost his gentle spirit or his ability to love.

Now at 2 years old, Oliver is that perfect in-between age: he’s outgrown the chaos of kittenhood (your shoes and curtains are safe!) but still playful, curious, and full of goofy energy. He’ll chase feather toys with Olympic dedication, roll onto his back with his belly up like he’s auditioning for “Cutest Cat of the Year,” and then look at you with those soulful green eyes that seem to say, “Please don’t overlook me again.”

Oliver is equal parts silly and sweet. He might act like he’s Mr. Independent, but give him a comfy blanket and some gentle pets, and he’ll melt like butter on warm toast. His favorite hobby? Perfecting his dramatic poses—whether stretched out like a king on his throne or curled into a cinnamon roll on the couch. He’s the kind of cat who will keep you laughing with his quirks and warm your heart with his quiet loyalty.

What Oliver needs most now is the one thing he’s been waiting for: a forever home. He deserves someone who sees past his shy moments, who understands that he’s not just “another tabby,” but a cat with a story, a heart full of love, and a spirit that refused to give up.

Adopting Oliver Twist means giving him the ending he’s been waiting for—and gaining a companion who will make even ordinary days feel extraordinary.

Because every story deserves a happy ending... and Oliver’s chapter with you could be the best one yet.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Copy and paste into your web browser to apply.

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TITD/cat

or email us at adopt@thisisthedog.org if assistance is needed

TRANSPORT- Virtual Home Visit using Facetime or Zoom
Out of state cat adoption:
One cat- $350
Two cats- $450

All donations are tax deductible.
Adoption donation for dogs includes Spay/Neuter, Up to Date Vaccines, Microchip, Deworming, and Heartworm test.
Adoption donation for cats/kittens includes Spay/Neuter, Up to Date Vaccines, Deworming, FeLV/FIV testing, microchip.
