Meet October

Poor little October was left abandoned at a trailer park with a pile of dry food.
He was sitting on a sill and was so petrified, he was frozen with fear. He would not move so we brought him back to our office immediately. A few days later he became very ill and was placed on antibiotics which his body would not tolerate, so after x-rays, it was determined that he had an infection and was put on a different and stronger antibiotic.

He finally went to a foster home and is doing great. However, that foster family does not have other pets and it is therefore difficult to know how he is with dogs or cats. He was dumped at the same location as Chrysanthemum and her kittens and he looks very much like Chrysanthemum, so it's possible they are related.
He's very cute though!
He is about one year old.

From his foster mom:
"This young fella is better than some men I’ve dated - he is a purring neck snuggler! October is completely attached to his person. Wherever I go, he’s right there, curious, but not intrusive. He’s happiest when you lay him on your chest so he can rub his face on your chin and get right up in your neck. Well, maybe he is happiest when he snuggles up to you in bed, where he is perfectly content until morning when he starts dragging his toys into the bedroom. He wants to know what you’re doing in the shower, in the litter, in the toy basket…lol! He also will tap your ankle from time to time when you pass by, claws retracted, and, like a typical young male will from time to time nibble on you. But he has been a gentle player and I’m not covered by scratches like I have been with many young cats. Even though having been rescued from an outdoor life, October seems to like being a house cat as he has never shown any interest in hanging out at a door, waiting to escape. He has some limited exposure to other cats but I believe, after a little introduction time, he would love to have a friend to romp with!"
