Oak (Senior Cat)** Sponsored Adoption Fee!

Hi, I'm Oak. I was abandoned by my owner and found by an oak tree in the shelter lot on a sunny afternoon in July. Like the tree I'm named after, I'm a solid dude, and I'm quite large. But I'm not initimidating... I'm very sweet, I love head scratches and belly rubs. A few days after abandoning me in that parking lot, my previous owner left an unsigned note at the shelter. It said: <br/><br/>"'Oak' is 13 years old (healthy and does not take medication). He would love a home where it is safe to be an indoor/outdoor cat. He is very sweet and an excellent mouser. He has never been around dogs and is used to being an only cat. I am very sorry, I cannot care for him any more. I knew staff or volunteers would be in to care for the animals, regardless of being closed to the public. Again, I apologize.
