Meet our very sweet and friendly cat named Nutmeg! Nutmeg is about 1.5 years old, and she came to our shelter after she was left behind in a home when her owners moved out. There were multiple cats left behind, and they all seem to get along well. Nutmeg is a very lovey cat who enjoys being pet and getting attention. She would love a family of her own! Nutmeg is a clean girl who uses her litter box well. She is fine with other cats and she can go to a home with children 8 years old and older. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.<br/>Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.<br/><br/>An approved application does not guarantee an adoption.
