Nunami's Story

**Meet Nunami: Professional Lap Warmer, Sunbeam Enthusiast, and Self-Appointed Queen of the Household**

Nunami is a sweet, affectionate Scottish Fold lady estimated to be around 911 years old. She spent much of her early life living outdoors with a colony of stray and feral cats before finding her way into rescue. These days, she's decided she's quite finished with roughing it and would much rather spend her time doing important indoor-cat activities like napping in sunbeams, supervising bird activity from her catio, and occupying your lap whenever possible.

If you're looking for a cat who loves people, Nunami may be your perfect match. She's friendly with strangers, gentle with children, and incredibly affectionate. She adores forehead-to-forehead snuggles, face kisses, brushing sessions, and cozy naps with her favorite humans. She doesn't meow muchinstead, she communicates with adorable little "ack!" noises that somehow manage to be even cuter.

Nunami is also a talented toy hunter, especially when wand toys or flapping bird toys are involved. She enjoys cardboard scratchers, elevated perches, fresh cat grass, and carefully evaluating every jump before launching herself onto a chair or cat tree like the thoughtful lady she is.

Like many Scottish Folds, Nunami has some physical quirks that only add to her charm. Her folded ears come from a cartilage condition that also gives her a slightly wobbly walk, a kinked tail, and some delightfully goofy feet. Despite these differences, she's happy, active, and fully committed to living her best life.

Now for the one thing potential adopters need to know: Nunami believes she should be the center of feline society. While she enjoys observing other cats from a safe distance, living with them is another story. She prefers to be the boss, and most cats don't appreciate her management style. Because of this, we think Nunami will be happiest as the only cat in the home, where she can reign peacefully without worrying about keeping the other cats in line.

What Nunami really wants is simple: a quiet home, a sunny window, a soft lap, plenty of brushing, and a human who appreciates a mature cat with a huge heart and a little extra character.

If you've been looking for a loyal companion who will reward your affection with head boops, tiny "ack" conversations, and endless love, Nunami may be waiting just for you.

6/8/26 - Additional photo's / video coming very soon.

If you're interested in adopting this kitty - or any of our other amazing cats/kittens, you can fill out your application here:

https://www.cognitoforms.com/FelineGoodAnimalRescueFGAR/FelineGoodAnimalRescueAdoptionApplication
