Meet Nueva!<br/><br/>Nueva's world changed when she and her dear friend, Mimi, arrived at Heartland after their previous human companions had to move and were unable to bring them along. While it has been a big adjustment, this beautiful brown tabby is slowly learning that there are still kind people who want to help her feel safe and loved.<br/><br/>Nueva is a shy girl who prefers to take her time getting to know new people and surroundings. She may watch you from a cozy hiding spot at first, but with patience, gentle words, and a quiet home, she's sure to let her sweet personality shine. Once she realizes she's safe, you'll have the privilege of earning the trust of a truly special companion.<br/><br/>Because she's been through so much change, Nueva would thrive with an adopter who understands that the best relationships are built one small step at a time. If you're looking for a gentle soul to love and have the patience to let her blossom, Nueva is ready to begin her next chapter. Even better, she'd love to continue that journey alongside her best friend, Mimi, if possible-they've already helped each other through one difficult transition, and they'd love to face the future together.<br/><br/>Nueva is spayed, up-to-date on her FVRCP and Rabies vaccines, and she is FIV and FeLV negative.<br/><br/>Nueva and Mimi are both currently staying at our Heartland Facility! We are open Thursday 4 pm-7 pm, Friday 4 pm-7 pm, Saturday Noon-6 pm, and Sunday Noon-6 pm. Feel free to stop by to meet them! No appointment necessary.
