Nova Domestic Short Hair Anoka, MN

Nova is a very shy white and grey kitty that is approximately 9 months old. She will need a little more attention and TLC, but she has come a long way!

Nova is an affectionate cat but she doesn't like being picked up or held very much. She does like to be petted and will come to you if you are patient and let her come to you, but prefers not to be picked up. After her foster brother got adopted, she did get very nervous and overgroomed herself to the point of losing some hair. But now her hair is growing back nicely.



She loves playing with any cat toy where she can kick it around and bunny kick it.

Nova likes being near other cats but she doesn't like dogs. Also, Nova's got the best judged cat face ever. Demonstrated in one of her adoption photos.



We would not recommend she go to a home with small children. She DOES get along well with other cats that are easy going and submissive. She needs a very quiet home to start over.



It would be best to start her in a small room like a bathroom where you can spend some time with her while she becomes accustomed to new smells and sounds.

Nova does like to be petted and will come to you if you are patient and let her come to you, but she prefers not to be picked up. . Once she gets to know you, she will jump on your lap and make you not want to move for hours.

Nova loves both wet and dry kitten food, truly the way to her heart. She will follow you anywhere if you have wet food in hand. Oh, and don't forget the kitten treats. Nova lives in a quiet household, and will react to a noisy household. She did play with her foster brother sister until he was adopted. It is now her turn and she is patiently waiting for her forever home.
