Nighthawk - Available from Foster's Story
Meet Nighthawk!

Nighthawk is a gentle giant with a soft heart, a loud purr, and a serious love for cozy naps and affection. Nighthawk came into our care when he needed medical treatment, and thanks to dedicated care, his diabetes is now well managed with insulin. Now, this sweet and soulful boy is ready to find a calm home where he can settle in, soak up attention, and be adored the way he deserves.

Nighthawk is the kind of cat who makes himself right at home in your heart. He greets people at the door, happily welcomes visitors, and will often flop over for pets while purring away contentedly. He's incredibly affectionate and loves being close to his people; whether he's curled up in your lap, following you from room to room, or gently chirping back when you talk to him. He especially enjoys belly rubs (a rare and honorable cat trait), having his head scratched while he relaxes, and lounging in sunny spots for long afternoon naps. While he's social and loving, Nighthawk is also wonderfully mellow. He prefers peaceful, adult-oriented households where he can enjoy a slower pace of life. He's not much of a toy chaser and tends to skip the wild zoomies in favor of scratching his post, cuddling, or tossing around his beloved catnip fish every now and then. He's happiest simply being near his people and soaking up companionship.

Nighthawk would likely thrive as the only pet, where he can enjoy being the center of attention and maintain the calm environment he loves most. His future family should be comfortable continuing his diabetes management, and we're happy to talk through his care routine with potential adopters. In return, Nighthawk offers endless affection, soothing company, and the kind of loving presence that makes a house feel like home.
If you're looking for a devoted, easygoing cat companion who will greet you at the door, keep you company through quiet evenings, and happily purr in your lap, Nighthawk could be your purrfect match.

Affectionate, social, and loves meeting people
Enjoys belly rubs, lap cuddles, and sunny naps
Diabetes is well managed with insulin
Prefers calm, adult-oriented homes
Happiest as the center of attention and likely best as the only pet

Dogs: Nighthawk is seeking a home as the only pet.
Cats: Nighthawk is seeking a home as the only pet.
Children: Nighthawk would thrive in an adult-only household.

Nighthawk is available for adoption from an HSCC foster home!
