Nobody officially assigned this to me, but after reviewing everyone’s behavior, I felt intervention was necessary.<br/><br/>I am a white-and-black cat with a playful personality, a curious mind, and the deeply rooted belief that I should know what everybody is doing at all times. This is why I sleep up high where I can comfortably supervise the room like a suburban dad looking through the blinds.<br/><br/>I’m not being nosy.<br/><br/>I’m staying informed.<br/><br/>I like to watch first before joining in on new things. A responsible big brother gathers information before participating in possible nonsense. Once I’ve decided the situation seems acceptable, though, I’m happy to jump into play, investigate whatever’s happening, or casually insert myself into group activities like I was always part of the plan.<br/><br/>I keep tabs on everybody.<br/><br/>Who’s wrestling.<br/><br/>Who’s zooming too hard.<br/><br/>Who’s making suspicious noises near the food bowl.<br/><br/>Sometimes I’ll sit up high staring down at the room with the exhausted expression of someone trying to manage younger siblings at a sleepover.<br/><br/>And honestly?<br/>Accurate.<br/><br/>Despite my very serious supervisory responsibilities, I’m still playful, sweet, and curious myself. I like being involved, I like companionship, and I like knowing everyone around me is doing okay… preferably where I can see them.<br/><br/>I may act like I’m running security for the household, but really I’m just a caring guy who likes his people, likes his cat friends, and likes feeling included in whatever’s going on.<br/><br/>Nigel<br/>Part-time kitten energy.
