Nibbles Domestic Short Hair Mix Richmond, KY

Meet Nibbles! Nibbles came to us as a kitten with a badly damaged back leg, and small bites all over her body (most likely from rats). We're guessing she was trapped somewhere but managed to get free and drag herself into a nearby yard, where a kind human scooped her up. Sadly, we couldn't save her leg, but this feisty girl hasn't let that (or anything else) slow her down.

Nibbles might only have three legs, but she doesn't do anything by halves. Nibbles is 100% committed to whatever she puts her mind to, whether that's chasing after a toy (her favorite are mice toys; we think she's using them for training so she can get vengeance someday), wrestling with another cat or dog, or pursuing human attention. If she wants something, she is going to get it. She astonished her first foster by jumping out of a 3-foot-tall play pen when she was recovering from surgery, then managing to squeeze under the closet door to explore. Similarly, it didn't take long at all for her to figure out how to climb up a cat tree in order to jump onto her foster's raised bed. This girl will let absolutely nothing get in her way.

Nibbles isn't all spitfire all the time. When she's in the mood, she enjoys being cuddled and held. She'll curl right into your neck and sometimes even try to nurse on your collar. She loves to give little kisses (though you might get a nibble right after). Nibbles does well with her foster's other partially disabled kitten, Holston (even when he accidentally poops on her). She particularly loves her fosters' dogs; she walked right up to her 80+lb dog without a care in the world. We think she would be okay with gentle kids.

Nibbles is estimated to be about 5 months old as of October 2023. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. With an approved application, her adoption fee is $53.
