Neve's Story
Meet Neve A Little Snowflake Who Deserves a Gentle New Beginning

Her name is Neve—a word that means young, granular glacier snow. It's a fitting name for this beautiful Snowshoe Blue Point Siamese mix, whose soft coloring is as breathtaking as freshly fallen snow. But unlike a peaceful winter morning, Neve's first months of life were anything but gentle.

At only 6-7 months old, Neve had already experienced what no kitten should. She gave birth to a litter of kittens at a neglected property where cats were fed but never spayed or neutered. Disease spread unchecked. Some cats became so ill that infections destroyed their eyes. Many sick kittens—including possibly Neve's own babies—were taken by Animal Control for desperately needed medical care. Whether her kittens survived is something we'll never know.

Once the kittens had been removed to safety, Lucky Cat volunteers began trapping the adult cats so they, too, could receive the care they so desperately needed. Neve was one of the first. Terrified at first, she had every reason not to trust people. But little by little, the frightened young mother has discovered that gentle hands can bring comfort instead of fear.

Today, Neve is blossoming in her foster home. She has become a sweet, affectionate young cat who enjoys kind attention and quiet companionship. While she loves people, she's still a bit timid and cautious in unfamiliar situations. She isn't the cat who will race to greet every visitor—but give her a little patience, a peaceful home, and a predictable routine, and you'll watch her confidence bloom a little more every day.

Neve would thrive in a calm household with someone who understands that trust is one of the greatest gifts we can give a rescued cat. The reward is watching a once-frightened soul discover what it means to finally feel safe and loved.
Neve has already spent her short life caring for others. Now it's her turn to be the one who is cherished.

Neve is:
- Approximately 6-7 months old
- Spayed
- Vaccinated
- Microchipped
- Treated for fleas and intestinal parasites
- FeLV/FIV negative

If you're looking for a quiet, loving companion and believe that the best relationships are built on patience, trust, and kindness, Neve may be waiting just for you.

Sometimes the most beautiful snowflakes have weathered the harshest storms.
