Mystery. Age: approximately 4 years old as of 7/2023
Mystery's whole story is a mystery. We are not quite sure what his rough past may have been, but all we know is that he is safe now!
He's a very gentle and well behaved cat (very aloof, always in his own world). He will let you trim his nails if he gets a Churu treat and will let you medicate him. He's cat tolerant but will do best as the only kitty. However with proper introduction and time, he might accept a low energy cat. Mystery has done well with supervised children as well!
Mystery will require a family that can be cognizant of his unique eating habits. He has a bad habit of eating plastic so we advise no fake plants and store your plastic bags away! He eats a LOT of food, so he has to be managed or else he will throw up. (He lives up to his mysterious name.) As always when you adopt a cat, he will need time to decompress. He might be anxious at first but then settles in nicely.

Mystery is FIV/FELV (-), up to date on vaccines, and neutered. He has had a recent dental cleaning and should visit his veterinarian for cleanings as needed. He has an upper canine that is slanted but healed and a snaggletooth that grew out that way. (It just adds to his lovely charm.) However he has a low-grade heart murmur that has been evaluated by a veterinarian. While it is not detrimental, he should be brought to a veterinarian for his annual checkups!
