Hi there, my name is Muriel. At 9 years old, finding myself abandoned at the shelter entryway with 19 other cats was incredibly scary. I won't sugarcoat it-it's been hard on my senior soul, and I can be a little standoffish at first while I figure out if I'm safe. But I am trying so hard to be brave! Once I know you're one of the good ones, I absolutely love being brushed, getting head scritches, and I'll thank you with the loudest purrs and gentlest headbutts. I just need a patient human who will let me heal at my own pace.
