Muffin's Story

Meet Muffin!

If you're looking for a kitten who is equal parts playful adventurer and snuggly companion, Muffin may be the perfect match! Born mid-March 2026, this beautiful dilute calico tabby (or “calliby”) is a friendly, outgoing little girl who loves everyone she meets.

Muffin spends her days chasing toys, wrestling with her sister Biscuit, and exploring every corner of her foster home before checking in with her foster mom for cuddles and affection. When playtime is over, you'll often find her curled up with Biscuit for a cozy nap. The sisters look nearly identical—the easiest way to tell Muffin apart is by the adorable little pink spot on her nose!

Muffin gets along well with other cats and has been introduced to a dog without any concerns. She would thrive in a home with a feline companion and would especially love to be adopted with her sister, Biscuit. Her easygoing, affectionate personality also suggests she would do well in a home with respectful children.

Muffin has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is current on all age-appropriate veterinary care and vaccinations. Because she is still too young to complete the remainder of her veterinary needs, approved adopters will receive information outlining the options A Home of Their Own Animal Rescue offers to help ensure her remaining medical procedures are completed after adoption.

Ready to add a little sweetness to your life? Muffin is waiting to meet her forever family!

For more information, please contact catmanager@ahomeoftheirownrescue.org or submit an adoption application today.
