Super-affectionate, handsome Moustachio is urgently looking for a forever-home (or at most a long-term foster). **Best as a solo.** He is being fostered in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

As per his foster: "Moustachio is just a love bug and one of THE most friendly and affectionate cats around who loves snuggles, cuddles and scritches. He enjoys being picked up too. He is super smart and curious, loves perching on his cat tree & is also a great companion during work-from-home days.
He has a gloriously loud purr and likes nothing better than to just flop down next to you - whether on the couch or bed - and get all the love he can. Perfect litter box etiquette and doesn’t even mind playing dress-up - he is truly the purr-fect gentleman."

This is what Moustachio himself had to say: "I'm very sweet and mellow but also dashing, debonair, vetted, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, Negative on both FIV & FeLV, and a very gentle fellow around humans.

I've even made guest appearances on a rock-star's IG feed to raise awareness for #Movember, but despite all the attention I still have to find a #fureverhome . So I'm pleading here hoping someone will take me in forever or long-term, and even put together this brand new video in hopes I'll get lucky.

I was rescued off the mean streets at 7-8 years old and had a hard, sad life before. More sorrow followed. But with love and care by Lady Jean who fostered, vetted and nursed me along with 3 other lovely ladies in Park Slope Brooklyn who cared for me, I'm now living my best life but do need a more permanent home. Earlier, the person who had said he'd adopt me decided to travel far and wide so I am back searching again. For my best health I need to eat Hill's Biome wet food. I have good table manners too and like grooming myself fastidiously after each meal. Gotta preen my 'stache and tuxedo, you know!

I will be best as an only cat - as I like my human(s) all to myself. And although I'm quite fine (& cute) with small kittens and used to get along nicely with adult cats earlier - strangely over the last year - I don't get along well with other adults and prefer it solo. My current foster has been wonderful but sadly despite all her efforts, I still don't get along with her 2 resident cats and therefore want a home where I can reign supreme by myself. So, help me, will you? Pleeeease!"
