What started as hiding away in a cozy nook has slowly turned into curious observation from the safety of his beloved cat tree tower. Recently, he had an especially exciting breakthrough when he accepted gentle pets on his head and shoulders, leaned into the affection for more, and even stood up for a big happy stretch afterward. Moments like these show just how much trust Mouse Mouse is capable of building with patience and kindness. Though he's still cautious around people, Mouse Mouse is beginning to peek out of his shell in small but meaningful ways. He'll come out to sniff a hand in hopes of treats, allows petting while he eats, and quietly watches the daily rhythm of the home from nearby safe spots.
