Mouse's Story
Small Name. Big Heart.

Mouse arrived at Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions under heartbreaking circumstances.

He was one of four cats abandoned outside our shelter before sunrise with no identification and no explanation. Along with Donald, Pluto, and Spots, Mouse faced weeks of treatment for ringworm before he was finally ready to meet potential adopters.

Today, this sweet 2-year-old boy is healthy, curious, and quietly waiting for his second chance.

Mouse may hang back when meeting someone new, but don't mistake his cautious nature for a lack of affection. Once he feels safe, he begins to relax, explore, and show his gentle personality. He enjoys the company of other cats and would likely thrive in a home with a feline companion.

Mouse has already overcome more than most cats should have to.

Now he's simply looking for someone who will show him that this chapter of his life ends with love.
