Meet Miss Moose, a beautiful little girl with a heart as sweet as her face. <br/><br/>I am so incredibly proud of how far this special girl has come. Moose had a very difficult start when she arrived at rescue, losing both of her siblings within days of each other. Those losses understandably caused her to regress emotionally, and for a while she was a little shut down and afraid to let anyone get close.<br/><br/>Then Moose joined a group of 11 kittens, and over the past few months, something wonderful happened—she began to open up. With the companionship of her kitten friends and lots of love and patience, Moose has blossomed into the sweetest, most affectionate girl. Watching her gain confidence and learn that she is safe and loved has been such a joy.<br/><br/>Moose absolutely loves her kitten friends and is incredibly accepting and welcoming of them. She loves to play, but she also has a very affectionate side and simply cannot get enough attention. Give her some pets and she will happily soak them all up! And when dinner is being prepared, you can almost guarantee Moose will be circling your feet, rubbing against your legs and making sure you know she is ready for her meal. <br/><br/>Because of the difficult losses Moose experienced early in life, we are hoping to find her a forever home together with Brook (affectionately known as Brunty). Brunty has become her emotional-support buddy and provides her with a sense of comfort, security, and companionship that is incredibly important to her.<br/><br/>These two have formed such a special bond. They love to play together, keep each other company, and snuggle up together when it is time to rest. Brunty has helped Moose continue to build her confidence, and Moose has a wonderful friend by her side who makes her feel safe.<br/><br/>Miss Moose has come such a long way, and we want to make sure she can continue to thrive in a home where she feels secure, loved, and cherished. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat.<br/><br/>All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. All cats are tested for FeLV/FIV at six months of age.
